Grosenick gets win in USHL All-Star Game
Troy Grosenick of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders was the winning goaltender as Team CCM (East Division) beat Team Reebok (West Division), 5-4, in overtime in Tuesday night's United States Hockey League All-Star Game at Indianapolis.
Grosenick came in to replace Steve Summerhays of the Green Bay Gamblers midway through the second period and made 14 saves on 15 shots. Nick Bailen of the hometown Indiana Ice won the game with a goal at 4:47 of the overtime period. Ryan Walters of the Des Moines Buccaneers had a hat trick for Team Reebok.
RoughRiders defenseman Bryce Aneloski assisted on Team CCM's third goal part way through the second period. Riders defenseman Mac Bennett and forward Jeff Costello as played in the game with Bennett a plus-two.
