RoughRiders add forward Cardelli

RoughRiders Add Forward Cardelli from Fargo

CEDAR RAPIDS- The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders announced today they have acquired forward Nicholas Cardelli from the Fargo Force.  Cardelli played in 16 games for the Force scoring two goals and adding six assists.    

Cardelli (5’10”, 174 lbs) is a native of Wood Dale, Illinois.  He is committed to Bemidji State, becoming the 4th such player on the RoughRiders current roster to be committed to that program. 

“We are happy to add Nick to our team,” said RoughRiders Head Coach and General Manager Mark Carlson.  “He is a player of strong character and will add speed and creativity to our group.”

About the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.  Founded in 1999, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as the USHL Cedar Rapids RoughRiders Hockey Club, the club has won one Clark Cup Championship (2004-2005), three Anderson Cup titles (2004-2005, 2010-2011, 2015-2016) and has assisted hundreds of players in reaching their dreams of playing college hockey as student-athletes, while also having 35 former players drafted into the National Hockey League.
