RoughRiders Announce trade for Forward Granowicz

CEDAR RAPIDS- The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders announced today they have acquired forward Nick Granowicz from the Topeka RoadRunners of the North American Hockey League in exchange for Future Considerations.    

Granowicz (6’1”, 174 lbs) is a native of Macomb, Michigan.  In 25 games this season he has scored 12 goals and added 18 assists for 30 points. 

“We are excited to have Nick joining the RoughRiders,” said RoughRiders Head Coach and General Manager Mark Carlson.  “He has shown steady improvement as a player in recent years and is a person that possesses strong character and work ethic.  We look forward to working with Nick.”  

About the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.  Founded in 1999, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as the USHL Cedar Rapids RoughRiders Hockey Club, the club has won one Clark Cup Championship (2004-2005), three Anderson Cup titles (2004-2005, 2010-2011, 2015-2016) and has assisted hundreds of players in reaching their dreams of playing college hockey as student-athletes, while also having 35 former players drafted into the National Hockey League.
