USHL - RoughRiders update roster


Cedar Rapids, IA - January 5, 2017

The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders acquired forward Jordan Timmons from the Muskegon Lumberjacks today in exchange for a 4th round phase I draft pick.  The RoughRiders also received a 9th round phase I draft pick in the deal.  Timmons, from Bridgeville, PA has scored one goal and eight assists in 19 games for Muskegon this season.  Timmons is committed to UCONN.  

In a pair of other moves, the RoughRiders traded forward Matt Kidney to the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights.  Kidney had two goals and an assist in 16 games for the RoughRiders.  He was acquired from Wilkes-Barre earlier in the season.  

The RoughRiders also added forward Grant Loven to their roster.  Loven played with the team in four games while  three players were away, participating in International play.  Loven is from East Grand Forks, MN.
