Aneloski Earns Defensive Honor Hat Trick

 Bryce Aneloski, has earned the CCM Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.  Aneloski recorded three points (2g, 1a) as the RoughRiders won two of three games during the weekend.  The 19-year-old defenseman scored a goal in the 4-3 loss to Green Bay on Friday before scoring two points (1g, 1a) the next evening during the 6-1 win over Chicago.  He then helped Cedar Rapids record their fourth shutout of the season as they topped the Lancers 2-0 on Sunday.  The Pekin, Illinois native leads the RoughRiders in scoring with 34 points (11g, 23a) through 36 games this season which also ranks tops among USHL blueliners.
