Carlson tapped by USAHockey for World Junior Evaluation Camp

USA Hockey today announced the 44 players invited to take part in the 2010 USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp this summer in Lake Placid, N.Y. The players will be auditioning for a spot on the U.S. National Junior Team that will take part in the 2011 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship, Dec. 26, 2010-Jan. 5, 2011, in Buffalo, N.Y.

The camp will take place at Lake Placid\'s Olympic Center from July 30-Aug. 7, will feature practices, intra-squad scrimmages and international games featuring Finland, Sweden and the United States.

Keith Allain, head men\'s ice hockey coach at Yale University, will serve as head coach of the 2011 U.S. National Junior Team.

For the 2nd consecutive year, Mark Carlson, head coach and general manager of the United States Hockey League\'s Cedar Rapids RoughRiders will participate in Lake Placid as a camp coach.
